Oft anon have I dreamed,
Of living in a world filled,
Filled with peace and love for all…
All creatures great and small,
Far from today’s haste and hurry,
Away from the ravages of worry.
Treading the lost paths of the wild,
Leading the life of a carefree child,
Leading a life in the lap of the wild.
As a simple, splendid, joyous heart,
Amidst the splendours of Nature’s craft.
Neither for laurels nor fame do I care,
To clear the mists of life will I dare.
Far I shall roam over hills and dales,
As one with the breeze;
As one with the gales......
