Little wave O’ little wave, far out at sea,
Little wave O’ little wave, come unto me…
Deep is the ocean stretching beyond sight;
Mighty is her kingdom in the depths without light.
Vast are her waters blue, green and sunset gold;
Wild are her paths, traversed by sailors bold.
Ever followed by the winds swift and strong,
She raises her voice in mighty song.
She sings out for all to hearken,
As, in the dusk the skies darken.
She carries the symphony of the singing whales,
She carries the roar of the storms and the gales.
She carries the whispers of the seaweed deep,
She carries the dolphins as, for joy, they leap.
Little wave O’ little wave, far out at sea,
Little wave O’ little wave, come unto me.
Tell me tales of the ocean’s might,
Dance with me in the moonlit night.
Fill me with the joy of the leviathan’s leap,
Teach me the wisdom of the waters deep.
With sunset’s fire, set my heart aglow,
Swift as your currents, make my blood flow.
With the calm of the deep, still my mind,
That, in Life’s mad rush, some peace I may find.
Little wave O’ little wave, far out at sea,
Little wave O’ little wave, come unto me.
By the waters I rest in the gentle breeze,
I am one with the waves… One with the seas…
